Apple released iTunes 10.0.0.68, for both Windows x86 as well as Windows x64. What's new is:

• Introducing Ping. Use Ping to follow your favorite artists and friends or connect with the world's most passionate music fans. Discover the music everyone is talking about, listening to, and downloading.
• Rent HD TV episodes for just 99¢ each. Watch them on your Mac or PC, on-the-go with iPhone or iPod touch, or in your living room with the all new Apple TV.
• Play your favorites on the all new iPod touch, iPod nano, iPod shuffle, and Apple TV.
• Play music wirelessly with AirPlay on AirPlay-enabled speakers, home theater receivers, and iPod accessories.
• Explore many look-and-feel improvements throughout iTunes.
• Enjoy performance improvements which make iTunes faster and more responsive.
• Additional voice support with VoiceOver Kit for iPod.

Adobe has released Adobe Shockwave 11.5.8.612, because critical vulnerabilities have been identified in Adobe Shockwave Player 11.5.7.609 and earlier versions. The vulnerabilities (more info here and here) could allow an attacker, who successfully exploits the vulnerabilities, to run malicious code on the affected system. Adobe has provided a solution for the reported vulnerabilities. It is recommended that users update their installations to the latest version using the instructions provided below. 

At the "Shockwave Player Download Center" you can find a legacy setup by default. But, and this isn't mentioned at all at the download page, if you apply for a 'Adobe Shockwave Player Distribution License' you can get a Windows Installer package instead.

Adobe released Adobe Reader 9.3.4 which addresses multiple critical security vulnerabilities. Please see Security Bulletin APSB10-17 and Cyber Security Alert SA10-231A for details. Adobe always recommends that you install the latest security updates. For more information, see the Release Notes.  

Apple released QuickTime 7.67.75. HT4290 describes the security content of this version:

• Impact: Viewing a maliciously crafted movie file may lead to un unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution
• Description: A stack buffer overflow exists in QuickTime's error logging. Viewing a maliciously crafted movie file may lead to an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution. This issue is addressed by disabling debug logging. This issue does not affect Mac OS X systems.

Adobe has released 'Adobe AIR 2.0.3.13070' which contains fixes for vulnerabilities described in Technical Cyber Security Alert TA10-223A and Adobe's Security Bulletin APSB10-16. These vulnerabilities could cause the application to crash and could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. Adobe categorizes this as a critical update and recommends affected users update their installations to the newest versions.

Adobe has released 'Adobe Flash Player version 10.1.82.76' which contains fixes for vulnerabilities described in Technical Cyber Security Alert TA10-223A and Adobe's Security Bulletin APSB10-16. These vulnerabilities could cause the application to crash and could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. Adobe categorizes this as a critical update and recommends affected users update their installations to the newest versions.

To verify the Adobe Flash Player version number installed on your system, access the About Flash Player page, or right-click on content running in Flash Player and select "About Adobe (or Macromedia) Flash Player" from the menu. If you use multiple browsers, perform the check for each browser you have installed on your system.

• Disables older versions of some incompatible third-party plug-ins
• Addresses minor issues with dragging and dropping items
• Addresses a performance issue when first syncing to some devices with iTunes 9.2
• Addresses an issue upgrading to iOS 4 on an iPhone or iPod touch with encrypted back-ups
• Addresses other issues that improve stability and performance

Apple released iTunes 9.2.0.61, for both Windows x86 as well as Windows x64, which comes with several new features and improvements, including:

• Sync and read books with iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 4 and iBooks 1.1
• Organize and sync PDF documents as books. Read PDFs with iBooks 1.1 on iPad and any iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 4

• Faster back-ups while syncing an iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 4

Adobe has released 'Adobe Flash Player version 10.1.53.64' which contains fixes for vulnerabilities described in Technical Cyber Security Alert TA10-162A and Adobe's Security Bulletin APSB10-14. Adobe recommends users update to the most current version of Flash Player available for their platform.

If you use multiple browsers, perform the check for each browser you have installed on your system.

Adobe has released 'Adobe AIR 2.0.2.12610' which contains fixes for vulnerabilities described in Technical Cyber Security Alert TA10-162A and Adobe's Security Bulletin APSB10-14. A remote attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code. Adobe recommends users update to the most current version of Adobe AIR.
